Although the blog has been silent for a few weeks, I assure you I’m still alive and kicking. In fact, I took a good two-week holiday from the site while off in the Dominican Republic in August, letting the charming and multi-talented Protagonize Moderation Team handle the goings on of the site while I was away. So I’d like to extend my thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all of the moderators for a job well done.
On that note, I’m back home, married, and working on the site again.
While I’m in the middle of working on new groups and subscription-related features, I’d like to open up the month of September with a couple of feedback requests to our authors. I figure the best way to solicit ideas, suggestions, and comments for these proposed new features is to make good use of the groups feature, so I’ve posted a couple of free-form survey threads to the Protagonize Pub for you folks to read and answer.
If you have a little time to kill, or if you have any strong opinions regarding how you’d like to see Protagonize evolve, I encourage you to check both of these surveys out and give me whatever feedback you’re able to provide, even if it’s a “hey, I like that idea” or a “that sucks, don’t do it!”
As they say, every little bit counts.
- Survey #1: Multi-author stories & ratings
- Survey #2: Completed stories
- Survey #3: Poetry as its own site section
- Survey #4: Rating your own work
EDIT: I’ve added a third survey that I came up with earlier this morning. Figured I may as well take advantage while you guys were responding to the other two. :)
Note: If you haven’t checked out the pub and our other groups yet, what are you waiting for? :)
