Hey folks. Looks like I’m on time with the update this week!
I actually spent a good half hour choosing the Editor’s Picks this week. So much excellent writing to select from – you guys really outdid yourselves! Thanks for all of your contributions. I already have material ready for next week… but that all depends on what the Protagonists come up with this week!
As an aside, I know the design of the blog still sucks. I apologize, though, because it’s even starting to bug me and my sense of aesthetic. I’ll get around to cleaning it up soon, but I’ve been pretty focused on Protagonize, so the blog’s look and feel has started to fall by the wayside.

The man in the slick black suit lay bleeding, hisÂ glasses splattered with a fine mist of red dust, his arm in a folded pile by the side of him, curled up, no longer attached to bone.Â His teeth wereÂ scattered like pebblesÂ on the floor, only a fewÂ still clinging loosely to the root of his mouth. He spat, mostly coughedÂ up blood from his punctured lung, heaved and sighed,Â laying flatÂ against theÂ hot pavement,Â while he was graduallyÂ enveloped in an expanding circle of crimson.Â He gazed blankly skyward.

This week has been pretty light for updates (sorry guys!), aside from the usual tweaks and minor fixes, but we have a bunch of new stuff coming for the next couple of weeks. Primarily, we’re in the process of building a Facebook application!
